The cost of waiting

Nobody sends you an invoice for the year you spent waiting. That's why it feels free. It isn't.

The cost of waiting is paid in a currency you can't see until it's gone: reps not taken, rooms not entered, the compounding that never started. Motivation is a mood; it arrives late and leaves early. Discipline is a decision you make once and then defend.

Begin before you feel ready.

Readiness is a story you tell yourself to stay comfortable one more day. The work doesn't require it. Start small, start ugly, start now — and let the standard raise itself from there.
